Help Needed

Porting Trophy to Windows

Trophy was existing for Windows, but since version 1.1.1, it is not maintained anymore. It would be nice if someone could help me to build it on Windows. There shouldn't be too much work.

I'd really like the port to be done with a free tool like Bloodshed Dev-C++. I tried to do it, but there is no dev-pack for ClanLib (or I didn't manage to find one). It should be really easy for anyone that has some knowledge on Windows programming, but I don't. I think this should really be a short time job as there could be no maintain work once I've been explained how to do it.

Another way to port Trophy to windows would be to cross-compile it. This would be very nice as it would be possible to produce everything from Linux.

Coding

Want to help developing Trophy? Trophy is open-source. This means that you can download the source, look at it and improve or change it. If you send me your changes afterwards, I'll decide whether to take them into the official distribution of Trophy or not.

The copyright of your changes belongs to you. However, your changes will also become open-source and others can change them too. See the GPL for more details.

Graphics And Tracks

Graphics are a substantial component of every game. So far I've spent at least as much time with doing graphics for Trophy as with coding. If you're an artist or have a good hand for doing graphical work, you're highly welcome to contribute to Trophy! I'm open for improvements in every section.

The most difficult thing to do for me are the tracks. If you think you can do a track, please try it out. If you succeed, you can send me the surface. There's no programming needed to fully integrate a track into Trophy. There's a complete manual available for track designers. You can take a look at it here.
